Maseno University has officially announced that its 25th Graduation Ceremony will take place on Friday, 14th November 2025, at the Graduation Square, Siriba Campus, starting at 8:00 AM.
The event will mark the conferment of degrees, diplomas, and certificates to successful candidates. The University has confirmed that only students who have cleared all outstanding fees will appear on the final graduation list, which is available on the institution’s website, www.maseno.ac.ke.
Graduation Fees
All graduands are required to apply through the student portal and pay the mandatory graduation charges. The fee structure is as follows:
- PhD: KSh 8,000 (7,000 + 1,000 alumni fee)
- Masters: KSh 7,000 (6,000 + 1,000 alumni fee)
- Postgraduate Diploma: KSh 6,500 (5,500 + 1,000 alumni fee)
- Bachelors: KSh 6,000 (5,000 + 1,000 alumni fee)
- Diploma: KSh 5,500 (4,500 + 1,000 alumni fee)
- Certificate: KSh 5,500 (4,500 + 1,000 alumni fee)
Students experiencing challenges with the application or payments have been advised to seek assistance via studentssupport@maseno.ac.ke.
Academic Attire and Invitations
Graduands will be issued with three electronic invitation cards, permitting each to invite up to three guests. No one will be admitted into the venue without a card.
Academic regalia will be available for hire from Monday, 3rd November to Wednesday, 12th November 2025 through respective Deans of Schools. Late return of gowns will attract a KSh 500 daily fine from 19th December 2025.
Other Key Details
- Rehearsal: Scheduled for Thursday, 13th November 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Graduation Square. Attendance is compulsory for all graduands.
- Programme: Guests are expected to be seated by 7:30 AM, with the academic procession beginning promptly at 8:00 AM.
- Graduation Booklets: Available on the University website, with each graduand also receiving a hard copy during certificate collection.
- Name Verification: Graduands must ensure their full names (no initials) and correct spelling are confirmed with the Registrar, Academic & Student Affairs, by 30th September 2025. Failure to do so will affect transcript and certificate printing.
In his announcement, Professor Erick O. Nyambedha, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and Student Affairs), reiterated the importance of timely clearance, participation in rehearsals, and adherence to the university’s graduation policies to ensure a smooth ceremony.
