Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) has expanded its footprint with the opening of a new branch in Kilimani, Nairobi, bringing its branch network to 90 in Kenya and 150 across East Africa.

Expanding Access to Financial Services

The new branch, located at 197 Lenana Place along Lenana Road, is part of DTB’s strategic expansion plan aimed at deepening access to financial services for individuals, corporates, and entrepreneurs in one of Nairobi’s fastest-growing suburbs.

According to DTB, the Kilimani outlet will provide a full suite of financial services, including personal and business accounts, loans, mortgages, cards, insurance, and investment products. Customers will also have access to DTB’s robust digital channels, complemented by personalised in-branch support.

Strategic Growth in Nairobi’s Dynamic Hub

DTB Director of Retail Banking, George Otiende, said the branch opening underscores the bank’s commitment to customer-centric growth.
“Kilimani is a vibrant business and residential hub, and we are excited to provide innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of professionals, entrepreneurs, and corporates here. At DTB, our promise is to walk alongside our customers in their journey of growth and prosperity,” he said during the launch.

Strengthening Regional Presence

DTB continues to pursue its regional expansion strategy, with the latest launch consolidating its position as a key player in East Africa’s financial services sector. The lender now operates 150 branches across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Burundi, reflecting its ambition to blend physical presence with digital innovation to serve a diverse customer base.

By expanding into Kilimani, DTB aims to tap into the suburb’s rapidly growing population of professionals and businesses, aligning its services with Nairobi’s evolving economic landscape.
