CFAO Mobility Kenya, through its Sinotruk brand, has reinforced its long-standing strategic partnership with Africa Global Logistics (AGL) following the handover of 32 Sinotruk-NX prime movers, marking a major milestone in a collaboration that has spanned more than a decade.

The fleet handover underscores a shared focus on operational efficiency, reliability and long-term value creation, with the new trucks set to support AGL’s expanding logistics operations across Kenya and the wider region. AGL has served as CFAO Mobility Kenya’s strategic logistics service provider for over 10 years, supporting vehicle distribution and mobility solutions nationwide.

Boosting Capacity and Fleet Efficiency

The new Sinotruk-NX prime movers are designed for long-haul and heavy-duty transport, offering higher payload capacity, improved fuel efficiency and reduced downtime. These attributes are critical for logistics operators navigating rising transport costs, supply chain complexity and increasing demand for dependable delivery services.

By integrating the new fleet into its operations, AGL is expected to enhance service consistency while strengthening its ability to support regional trade flows, industrial customers and infrastructure-linked supply chains.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, CFAO Mobility Kenya Managing Director Arvinder Reel said the partnership with AGL is anchored on trust and shared long-term objectives rather than transactional engagements.

“Our partnership with Africa Global Logistics goes beyond transactions. It is built on more than 10 years of working together as strategic partners. Today’s handover reflects our mutual confidence in each other and our shared focus on reliability, efficiency and service excellence,” said Reel.

He added that Sinotruk by CFAO is designed to deliver both performance and durability, backed by comprehensive aftersales support.

“We are proud to support AGL’s operations with trucks that are built to perform, alongside aftersales support that ensures uptime wherever their business takes them,” he said.

Aftersales Support as a Competitive Advantage

A key component of the partnership is CFAO Mobility Kenya’s nationwide service ecosystem. AGL will benefit from access to trained technicians, genuine spare parts and service centres across the country, ensuring fleet availability and operational continuity.

In an industry where vehicle downtime directly affects customer service and margins, reliable aftersales support has become a strategic differentiator for logistics providers and fleet operators.

The Sinotruk-NX range also incorporates safety features and driver-focused comfort enhancements, supporting productivity and safer road operations, an increasingly important consideration for logistics firms operating across long distances.

AGL Eyes Growth, Jobs and Safer Operations

Africa Global Logistics Kenya Country Managing Director Martin Mwangi said the fleet expansion reflects AGL’s long-term investment in capacity, people and customer service.

“This fleet expansion is a strategic investment in our capacity, our people and our customers. It strengthens our ability to support trade, create employment and deliver integrated logistics solutions, while advancing safer and more sustainable operations,” said Mwangi.

He noted that the investment aligns with AGL’s broader purpose of Moving Africa Forward, as the company continues to scale its multimodal logistics services spanning transportation, warehousing and customs clearance.

AGL Kenya employs more than 1,500 staff and serves customers across multiple economic sectors, including manufacturing, agriculture, infrastructure, consumer goods and energy.

Supporting Kenya’s Logistics and Trade Ecosystem

The handover comes at a time when Kenya’s logistics sector is playing an increasingly central role in supporting regional trade, port-linked supply chains and cross-border commerce within East and Central Africa.

Investments in modern, efficient fleets are becoming essential as logistics firms respond to growing customer expectations, sustainability considerations and the need for cost-efficient transport solutions.

For CFAO Mobility Kenya, the partnership highlights its broader strategy of supporting institutional and enterprise customers with purpose-built commercial vehicles and an integrated mobility ecosystem that goes beyond vehicle sales.

“This handover underscores our commitment to supporting key logistics partners with reliable commercial vehicles and a comprehensive mobility ecosystem that enables sustainable growth,” the company said in a statement.

With both firms signaling continued collaboration, the Sinotruk fleet expansion positions CFAO Mobility Kenya and Africa Global Logistics to deepen their contribution to Kenya’s transport, logistics and economic development landscape.
