Daima Sacco Membership Eligibility & Complete List of Requirements

Daima Sacco

Daima Sacco is one of Kenya’s leading deposit-taking Saccos with an asset base of Ksh 1.65 billion. Established on April 16, 1991, under the Co-operative Societies Act, the Sacco initially focused on serving tea growers, particularly those who were paid through the Kenya Tea Development Agency (KTDA). Over the years, the Sacco has expanded to accommodate members from all walks of life and sectors, promoting economic empowerment through savings, investment, and loan services.

In 2010, Daima Sacco rebranded from its former name, Mungania Tea Growers Sacco, and launched Front Office Service Activities (FOSA) to attract a broader membership from the general community.

The Sacco operates under the Co-operative Societies Act 2004, Sacco Society Act 2008, Sacco Society Regulations 2010, and is governed by its internal by-laws, policies, and procedures.
