Where Is the Certificate of Good Conduct Issued?

The certificate is issued by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), under the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI). For residents of Nairobi, you can obtain it from the CID headquarters located along Kiambu Road in Muthaiga.

For residents outside Nairobi, the certificate can be processed at Divisional CID offices across the country. The process includes taking fingerprints, and your receipt, ID photocopy, and fingerprint records will be sent to the CID headquarters for review.
