Hazina Sacco, a prominent deposit-taking Sacco in Kenya, has been serving its members since its establishment in 1971. With an asset base of Ksh 12.76 billion, Hazina Sacco is one of the largest financial cooperatives in the country, offering a wide range of financial services to its members.
Initially, the Sacco’s membership was drawn exclusively from the then Ministry of Finance and Planning, but it has since expanded to include employees from other ministries, parastatals, county governments, and the private sector. Today, Hazina Sacco boasts a membership of over 19,000.
