Membership Requirements and Application Process
To become a member of Limuru Country Golf Club, you must be proposed by an existing full member who has held membership for at least one year. The process includes the following steps:
- Proposer and Seconder: The proposer and seconder must fill out an application form, attaching a membership entrance fee, two passport-size photos (for joint membership), copies of ID or passport, and a one-page CV.
- Balloting: The applicant will undergo balloting by the Membership & Disciplinary Committee, usually held on the 1st Saturday of each month.
- Vetting: If successful, the applicant’s name is posted on the club’s notice board for two months for vetting by the general membership. During this period, a temporary card is issued.
- Final Election: After two months, the application is forwarded to the Board of Directors for final approval, at which point the applicant becomes a full member and is issued a permanent membership card.

- Country membership is limited to those residing 70 km away from the club and restricts access to twice a month.
- Life membership is available to those who have been members for 25 years and are over 65 years old.
