As per the government directive, all payments must be made through the designated PayBill number 222222. However, some applicants have reported delays in payment reflection on the eCitizen platform, resulting in system errors or application delays. To address this, KUCCPS has provided a step-by-step guide for checking if your payment has successfully reflected on the platform.

How to Make KUCCPS Payment

Here’s how to complete the payment process for your KUCCPS application:

  1. Access the Payment Link: Begin by logging into your KUCCPS account and clicking on the payment link displayed on the portal.
  2. Choose Mobile Money (M-Pesa): Select the mobile money option, specifically M-Pesa, as your preferred method of payment.
  3. Enter PayBill Number: Use PayBill number 222222 as provided by KUCCPS.
  4. Account Number: Input the unique account number given by KUCCPS in the account field.
  5. Amount: You are required to pay Ksh 1,500 for the application process.
  6. Complete Transaction: Enter your mobile money PIN to finalize the payment. Upon successful payment, you will receive a confirmation message from M-Pesa.

Despite successfully completing these steps, it is important to confirm that the payment has been correctly reflected on the eCitizen platform before proceeding with your application.

How to Check if KUCCPS Payment Has Reflected on eCitizen

KUCCPS has outlined the following process to help applicants confirm whether their payments have been updated on the eCitizen system:

  1. Dial USSD Code: Using your mobile phone, dial the shortcode *222#.
  2. Select ‘Check Payment’: After dialing, you will be prompted with several options. Choose Option 6 for “Check Payment.”
  3. Enter Payment Reference: Input the Payment Reference (Account) you used during the application process and send.
  4. Input Transaction Code: Next, enter the M-Pesa transaction code received from the mobile money confirmation message.
  5. Confirm Payment: If your payment has been correctly processed, you will receive a confirmation stating that the invoice has been paid.

Once this confirmation is received, you can log back into your eCitizen account and continue with the application process without any issues.

What to Do in Case of Delayed Payment Reflection

If your payment has not reflected even after following the steps above, it may be due to system delays. In such cases, it is advisable to wait for a few hours and check again. If the issue persists, contact the KUCCPS help desk or the eCitizen support team for further assistance.
