The highly anticipated Tusker Oktobafest 2024 regional activations are set to launch on October 19th, bringing a cultural and musical extravaganza to beer lovers across Kenya. The simultaneous celebrations will be held at Enkare in Kitengela, Texas BBQ in Kikuyu, and Timber XO in Eldoret, featuring some of Kenya’s top musical acts and offering attendees a unique cultural experience as they enjoy their favorite Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) beers.
At Enkare, Kitengela, fans of Rhumba will be treated to electrifying performances by the legendary Kenyan band Les Wanyika, supported by TBM Band. The evening’s entertainment will be hosted by the dynamic Dee Presenter 001, with DJs Collo, Numz, and Kyra spinning Rhumba classics to keep the crowd dancing.
In Kikuyu, Texas BBQ will host an exciting lineup featuring Afropop star Nadia Mukami and the Arbantone sensation Fathermoh, alongside MC Mido, DJs Gudahman, Gibbz Tha DaqChild, Malaika, and Dee Wiz. Attendees can expect a vibrant blend of urban pop and Mugithi sounds.
Eldoret will see high-energy performances headlined by Khaligraph Jones and Afropop duo Vijana Barubaru. Festival-goers will also be entertained by crowd favorites MC Nick The Trend, DJ Tibz, the queen of the turntables DJ Pierra Makena, and DJ Aleckie.
Christine Kariuki, Marketing Manager at Tusker, expressed excitement for the kick-off of the nationwide celebrations. “We are kicking off our countrywide celebration of beer and culture this Mashujaa Day weekend with an amazing lineup and beer experience across our portfolio. We urge locals to show up and explore how we do beer and culture,” said Kariuki.
Each venue promises a distinct flavor of entertainment, with entry priced at KES 1,000, redeemable for any KBL beer, ensuring that festival-goers can enjoy the best of live music alongside their favorite brews. The celebrations this weekend mark the start of a series of regional activations lined up across the country, offering thrilling experiences throughout October.
