Admission Requirements:

To qualify for the Diploma in SNE, applicants must meet one of the following:

  • Hold a P1 Primary Teacher Certificate with at least two years of teaching experience.
  • Hold a Certificate in Early Childhood Education Development (ECDE) from a government institution with a KCSE grade of at least D+ or its equivalent, along with at least two years of teaching experience.
  • Have a P1 Teacher Certificate through promotion after passing the PTC exam, administered by the Directorate of Quality Assurance and Standards, Ministry of Education.
  • Possess a P2 Teacher Certificate and Certificate in SNE from KISE or any recognized institution with at least a D grade in KCSE and five years of teaching experience.
