Key Notes on Eldoret Polytechnic’s Fee Payment

  • Full Payment Required for Registration:
    Students must pay the full amount of the fees before they can be registered in the polytechnic’s computer system. Registration will not be processed without full payment. Payments can be made via:
    • Bankers Cheque
    • M-Pesa Paybill Number: 304250
    • National Bank of Kenya – Eldoret Branch (Account Number: 01021027668101)
  • New Student Payments:
    New students are required to pay Ksh. 500 for caution money and Ksh. 500 for registration fees. These are mandatory and separate from the general fees.
  • Practical Fees for Catering and Food and Beverage Management Courses:
    Students enrolling in Diploma in Catering and Accommodation (Ksh. 6,000), Diploma in Food and Beverage Management (Ksh. 6,000), and Certificate in Catering and Accommodation (Ksh. 6,000) are required to pay additional practical fees. Certificate students in Food and Beverage Management pay Ksh. 3,000.
  • Government Capitation:
    For students admitted through KUCCPS (Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service), the government will contribute Ksh. 30,000 towards tuition fees. However, the balance of Ksh. 26,420 must be paid by the student or their guardian. Students can apply for financial aid through the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) to cover the balance.
  • KNEC Exam Fees:
    The fees listed do not cover KNEC exam fees. These must be paid directly to the respective departments before the registration deadline. Additionally, an affiliation fee charged by professional bodies must be paid separately.
  • Hostel Accommodation:
    The polytechnic provides limited hostel accommodation, and students are advised to inquire from the Dean of Students if they need accommodation. The fees for hostel facilities are not included in the general fees structure and are subject to availability.
  • Direct Applicants Fees:
    Students applying directly to the polytechnic (not through KUCCPS) are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Ksh. 750.
