RUBiS Energy Kenya and Castrol Kenya Flag Off Chana Brothers for 2025 WRC Safari Rally

RUBiS Energy Kenya and Castrol Kenya have officially flagged off the Chana Brothers Rally Team for their 2025 World Rally Championship (WRC) Safari Rally campaign. The launch event, held at the RUBiS Nyayo Stadium station, marks a significant boost for local motorsport, highlighting Kenya’s growing presence on the global rally stage.

The sponsorship aligns RUBiS Energy Kenya’s commitment to developing local racing talent with Castrol’s global motorsport heritage, which includes its sponsorship of Ford Motorsport in the WRC. The Chana Brothers’ recent acquisition of a Ford rally car strengthens this partnership, ensuring they have world-class support as they gear up for the grueling WRC season.

Speaking at the event, Olivier Sabrié, RUBiS Energie East Africa Group CEO and RUBiS Energy Kenya Managing Director, emphasized the company’s mission to nurture Kenyan rally talent.

The WRC Safari Rally 2025 will take place from March 20th to March 23rd, bringing together elite rally drivers from around the world. Known for its rugged and unpredictable terrain, the Safari Rally is considered one of the most demanding races on the WRC calendar, testing the endurance, skill, and adaptability of both drivers and machines.
