The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has arrested two Judiciary staff members at Mbita Law Courts, Homa Bay County, over bribery allegations. Senior Court Assistant Jared Nyauncho and Customer Care Officer David Tunya were apprehended on March 26, 2025, for allegedly soliciting and receiving a Ksh 5,000 bribe from a complainant.

EACC reaffirmed its commitment to combating corruption in public service, stating:
“We remain dedicated to enhancing the timely detection and prevention of bribery at service delivery points to restore public confidence.”
The commission has urged the public to report any cases of corruption to help eliminate unethical practices in government institutions.
