Airtel Money customers can now make direct payments to DTB Till Moja merchants following a new partnership designed to expand digital payment options for SMEs. The collaboration also enables users to deposit funds from their Airtel Money wallets into DTB accounts, offering faster and more convenient access to banking services.

Through this integration, customers can pay bills, transfer money, and manage their finances from their phones without needing to visit physical service outlets. Customers will also benefit from a 50 percent guaranteed airtime cashback on all Paybill transactions.

Airtel Money Kenya Managing Director, Anne Kinuthia-Otieno, said the initiative enhances the flow of money within Kenya’s financial system and expands convenience for business operators and consumers.

The partnership aims to boost mobile-led financial inclusion, especially for underserved communities that rely on digital payments. It strengthens access to secure and affordable financial services for more households and small enterprises.

DTB Director of Retail Banking, George Otiende, said the bank continues to support flexible payment options that align with everyday financial needs. He noted that the collaboration will benefit SMEs and individuals depending on mobile money for business continuity and daily transactions.

Customers can transact through the Airtel Money app or by dialing *334# to deposit into DTB accounts or pay merchants using DTB Till Moja.
